The main street through town is very congested and confusing for drivers watching out for other drivers, bikers, peds, etc. Flashing signs are much more visible and would greatly enhance driving safety through town. Moe visible signs would also reduce alienating tourists who feel exploited by what can easily be construed as a "speed trap." I suspect revenues generated by speeding citations cannot compensate for the loss of revenue that results from people avoiding Morrison altogether.

Good morning, After reading all the news articles regarding the excessive speeding tickets that the police department issues to gain revenue, really concerns me and the community. Our police department should not be expected to target people and give tickets with the reasoning that the city manager wants more money. Since the the news broke all of a sudden State Patrol has been out there and not a single Morrison Police Officer. Hmmm it’s that doesn’t make your department look bad I’m not sure what does. Did you sent that up intentionally to prove a point? Please stop targeting the community and try some police work for once. Our Police officers are already getting a bad rap in the news, why give more ammo to the community to really hate police???

I had no idea this was thing. I went shopping today in Morrison, and spent a lot of money, and came back to a parking ticket. The sign was obscured by overhanging trees, and I parked right near the shop I visited, Meadowsweet, and came back to a $30 ticket. I’ll pay it, but I won’t be back again. It’s unfortunate as I live 10 minutes away and ore-COVID, came to Morrison 2-3 times a week for dining and shopping. I love the places there but I don’t want any taxes to go to a corrupt local government.

As we are all aware, the housing costs of the greater Denver area is soaring! Many people are looking to find alternatives to the giant financial undertaking of an (on average) $400,000 home purchase. Even 10 years later, the 2008 housing crash has left a mark.
There's a HUGE movement that is taking place right now. So many people are considering tiny homes as an alternative to the giant homes we've become so accustomed to. People opting in to the tiny life are finding they have more free time, more discretionary funds (to attend concerts at Red Rocks, no doubt) and overall contentment with their way of life.
What I am looking for is a community that would be interested in hosting the country's first GOLD standard tiny home community. One that will be the best example of how the community should be developed, managed and prospered! The main issue right now is working with in zoning laws and regulations. Let's work to find a solution to make this (American) dream a reality for so many

To encourage bicycling in this area, there is a need for improvement to accommodate & promote bicycling. Morrison is a hub for open space, trails & attractions, serving both residents & visitors. There are multiple highly popular bike trails around the Willow Springs area. With the new developments & future developments, the population has grown & with it the number of bicyclists. The road of West Belleview Avenue (west of C-470) has unofficially turned into a shared road not specifically defined for bicycle use. Bicyclists & drivers are struggling to figure out how to coexist with each other on this road. This road is heavily populated and with blind curves, making it dangerous for drivers & bicyclists. The solution that seems the easiest and lowest in cost is designate a bike lane on both eastbound & westbound directions.
WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS??? WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN?
Please feel free to email me at ccccmartin@gmail.com Thank you!

Given the recent incidents with George Floyd, Amoud Arbery, and many others, it is my belief and the belief of minority advocates that police officers should wear body cameras, as a new standard. This is absolutely not a reflection of the state of the police force here in Morrison. Perhaps you already have body cams? It's unclear from the information on the website. Thank you for your consideration.
Any and all who support this idea, please like or comment. We do not have the luxury of being quiet. We all need to take action in any way we can to help ensure equal justice to all.
